Afternoon DIY Projects
What started as an idea to see if I could save our coffee table from my acetone spills (DIY nail projects) and my daughter’s trolls sticker obsession was just the beginning. Creating one of a kind, farmhouse chic furniture (shabby chic, vintage chic) is a now a favorite SAHM afternoon project for kids day. Natalya (Kai) & I paint 2 coats of chalk paint while Victoria is napping. By the time Victoria wakes up, the paint is dry and ready for her to help sand the ages of time into our pieces. Distressing is key to getting the vintage look. Next, I seal it with an antique wax finish…and just two short Paw Patrols later, it’s done & ready to flip. Or keep. We have a hard time letting go of our unique pieces.

You’ve Got to Start Somewhere
Since Natalya and Victoria love helping so much, the $ earned through paint messes, elbow grease and works of love will go toward funding their college. Natalya is an expert painter and Victoria is a skilled sander. – More info below on where to buy our furniture.
