YWCA Billings launched its Volunteer Network in the midst of a worldwide pandemic when women need the organization’s services now more than ever…and let me tell you…this is an ahh-mazing opportunity to help women in Montana. It is the perfect mix of volunteer commitment, while NOT over extending yourself. Is that even possible in the volunteer world? Why yes it is. This is not too good to be true…and you can truly help change and save lives locally and improve your community.

Here are 3 seriously simple things you can do to start helping today.

  1. Complete the volunteer application.
  2. Provide support for at least one project or event per year.
  3. Pledge to give a minimum of $100 annually.

Then, simply email the application to volunteer@ywcabillings.org, sit back and wait for your invite to the working social club, the private social media group and the chance to change and save lives of women and children right here in Montana.

It’s never too late to start making a difference in the world and empowering women. I’ve enjoyed serving on the board at YWCA Billings…and I’m excited for the new Volunteer Network where I’ll get to do more of what I love. For me, that has been anything from baking cookies with the kids at the YWCA shelter while visiting with the moms, putting together holiday gift bags, adopting a family for the holidays…and “Salute” video shoots honoring our community heroes.

I hope you’ll join me in the Volunteer Network…and please invite a friend!
